Amazon gift cards fall outside the limited-network model: because Amazon marketplaces mix first-party and third-party sellers, German tax authorities treat the card as non-ZAG-conform (BMF-Schreiben 2022) and it does not qualify as a Sachbezug in Germany. In France it is not on the URSSAF pre-approved chèque-cadeau list.
